Things to do in SG Highway

The Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway, universally shortened to SG Highway, is the spine of new Ahmedabad and where most of the city's large private events happen. Members' clubs such as Karnavati Club and Rajpath Club, hotel ballrooms, malls and open-air party plots line the road from Sarkhej in the south to Vaishnodevi Circle in the north, and they fill up for Navratri garba, wedding season, New Year's Eve and touring comedy and music shows. Thaltej, Bodakdev, Sindhu Bhavan Road, Prahlad Nagar and Science City Road all branch off it. The Blue Line reaches the highway at Thaltej; for everything else, plan on a cab or your own vehicle.
