Kids' Events & Family Activities in Ahmedabad

Children are well served in Ahmedabad. Gujarat Science City, off SG Highway, has an aquatic gallery, a robotics gallery, an IMAX 3D theatre and a nature park, and is closed on Mondays. The Kankaria lakefront offers a toy train, the Kamla Nehru Zoo, Kids City and rides, and becomes a carnival from 25 to 31 December. In Gandhinagar, Indroda Nature Park has a dinosaur and fossil section, and the Auto World museum on the eastern ring road displays vintage cars. The Vikram A. Sarabhai Community Science Centre near Gujarat University runs hands-on science programmes. Weekly listings add art and craft classes, storytelling, puppet shows, children's theatre, coding and robotics workshops and mall activities, with camps during the summer and Diwali holidays and kite flying every January.
