Things to do in Satellite

Satellite is the large residential district between the 132 Feet Ring Road and SG Highway, named after the nearby ISRO Space Applications Centre. It works as west Ahmedabad's everyday high street: restaurants, snack joints, boutiques, dance and music academies, art studios and banquet halls along Satellite Road, Jodhpur Cross Road and Shyamal Cross Road. Event listings here are mostly classes and workshops, children's activities, society garba during Navratri and festive exhibitions in halls and hotels around Ramdevnagar. BRTS buses run along the ring road and Satellite Road, linking the area to Nehrunagar, Shivranjani and ISKCON Cross Road, but there is no metro station within walking distance.
