Expos, Trade Fairs & Exhibitions in Ahmedabad

Exhibitions in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar are split between two cities and four main venues. Inside Ahmedabad, the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 132 Feet Ring Road hosts education, property, jewellery, wedding, food and machinery shows, with the neighbouring GMDC Ground and the Sabarmati Riverfront event grounds used for the largest consumer fairs. In Gandhinagar, Mahatma Mandir's 34-acre convention complex and the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Sector 17 take the industrial trade shows and the exhibitions linked to state investment summits. Lifestyle, handloom and craft exhibitions use Ahmedabad Haat in Vastrapur, club lawns and hotel ballrooms. Consumer expos are usually free or low-priced at the gate; trade shows ask visitors to register in advance. The Yellow Line now links Motera to Mahatma Mandir.
