Things to do in Sindhu Bhavan Road

Sindhu Bhavan Road, usually just SBR, runs west from SG Highway near Bodakdev towards Shilaj and has become the city's main evening promenade for a younger crowd. In a dry state, this is what a night out looks like: cafés, dessert bars, restaurants and showrooms packed along a wide avenue, with people driving up after dinner and staying past midnight on weekends. Hotels on and around the road, including Taj Skyline, host weddings, brand events and festive brunches, and cafés run open mics, quiz nights and live acoustic sets. Police regulate traffic and parking heavily on festival nights and on 31 December, so walk the last stretch if you can.
