Things to do in Gujarat University Area

The campuses around Gujarat University hold more event space than any other part of Ahmedabad. The GMDC Ground and the Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 132 Feet Ring Road take the biggest garba nights, trade fairs, consumer expos and concerts. A short walk away, the Kasturbhai Lalbhai Campus groups together CEPT University, the Kanoria Centre for Arts, the Hutheesing Visual Art Centre and Amdavad ni Gufa, the underground gallery B. V. Doshi built for M. F. Husain's work. The Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum and the Ahmedabad Management Association, known for its public talks, are close by. Three Blue Line stations serve the area.
