Things to do in Naranpura

Naranpura is a settled residential suburb north of the university area that has recently picked up a place on the sports calendar. The Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, a multi-sport facility with an aquatics centre, indoor halls and a community sports centre, is listed among the existing venues for the 2030 Commonwealth Games and has begun hosting national and international championships. Outside the complex, event life is local: society and party-plot garba in Navratri, school fairs, exhibitions in community halls and food stalls around Ankur Cross Road. Vijay Nagar and Vadaj on the Red Line are the nearest metro stations, and BRTS buses run along the ring road.
