Things to do in Motera & Sabarmati

Motera, in the north-west of the city, exists on the events map for one reason: Narendra Modi Stadium, the 132,000-seat cricket ground that is the largest stadium in the world. It is the home of the Gujarat Titans, staged the finals of the 2023 World Cup and the 2026 T20 World Cup, and holds the venue attendance record of 111,989 from Coldplay's January 2025 concerts. The surrounding Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave is being built out for the 2030 Commonwealth Games. Motera Stadium station is where the Red Line meets the Yellow Line to Gandhinagar. Chandkheda and Sabarmati nearby have the hotels, restaurants and parking most match-goers use.
