Kids & Family Events in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad is an easy city to keep children busy in, and this page lists the week's kids' workshops, shows and family outings as they are announced. The two anchors are Gujarat Science City and Kankaria. Science City, off SG Highway, has an aquatic gallery, a robotics gallery, an IMAX 3D theatre and a nature park; general entry is ₹50, the big galleries cost ₹200 each, and it is closed on Mondays. Kankaria's gated lakefront has a toy train, the Kamla Nehru Zoo, Kids City and balloon and boat rides, and turns into a week-long carnival from 25 to 31 December. In Gandhinagar, Indroda Nature Park has life-size dinosaurs and real fossils, and Akshardham's evening water show holds older children's attention. On the eastern ring road, Auto World displays more than a hundred vintage cars. Regular listings include art, craft, coding and robotics classes, storytelling and puppet shows, children's theatre, museum workshops at the L. D. Museum, mall activities at Palladium and Nexus Ahmedabad One, and holiday camps in May and during the Diwali break. January adds kite flying at Uttarayan and the riverfront flower show.
