EKA Arena, formerly The Arena by TransStadia, is a multi-purpose stadium beside Kankaria Lake, built as a public-private partnership between the Government of Gujarat and SE TransStadia. It opened on 7 October 2016 and was formally inaugurated by the Prime Minister in June 2017. The bowl seats about 20,000 for football, and part of it can be partitioned into a covered indoor arena for kabaddi, table tennis and stage

Check whether your event is in the indoor arena or the open stadium; entry gates and seating plans differ between the two. Roads around Kankaria Lake are narrow and crowded in the evening, more so during the Kankaria Carnival in the last week of December. Leave extra time or take the Blue Line to Kankaria East. Pair an evening event with an early visit to the Kankaria lakefront next door, which has food stalls and rides.
