Things to do in GIFT City

Gujarat International Finance Tec-City is the financial district rising on the Sabarmati between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, about 12 km from the airport. It is India's first International Financial Services Centre, and its towers, hotels and open plots host business conferences, fintech meetups, runs and large ticketed concerts. It is also the one place in Gujarat with licensed wine-and-dine facilities. Under the state's December 2025 order, visitors aged 21 and over who are from outside Gujarat or are foreign nationals can be served on showing valid photo ID, while Gujarat residents need a temporary permit through a GIFT City employee.
