About Nexus Ahmedabad One
Nexus Ahmedabad One is the large mall facing Vastrapur Lake. It opened in 2011 as AlphaOne, was later renamed Ahmedabad One and now carries the Nexus name, though many residents still call it Alpha One. For over a decade it has been west Ahmedabad's default family mall, with department stores, a hypermarket, a multiplex, a gaming and play zone and a food court, and its atrium and forecourt are regular settings for festive décor, sale-season events, children's workshops, school talent shows and small live performances. Vastrapur Lake's walkway and the Ahmedabad Haat craft bazaar are just across the road, which makes it easy to combine shopping with an evening walk or a handicraft exhibition.
