About Narendra Modi Stadium
Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera is the largest stadium in the world, with 132,000 seats, and is owned by the Gujarat Cricket Association. It replaced the old Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium, which was demolished from 2015; the new ground, designed by Populous and built by Larsen & Toubro, opened on 24 February 2020 with the Namaste Trump rally and took its present name a year later. It staged the opening match and final of the 2023 Cricket World Cup, the final of the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup and IPL finals in 2022, 2023, 2025 and 2026, and is the home of the Gujarat Titans. Coldplay's two concerts here in January 2025 set the ground's attendance record of 111,989. It is slated to host the ceremonies of the 2030 Commonwealth Games.
Parking: On-site parking for about 3,000 cars and 10,000 two-wheelers; on big match days police also designate paid parking plots around Motera and close nearby roads
