The Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum, shortened by everyone to the L. D. Museum, is on the L. D. Institute of Indology campus near Gujarat University. Its collection covers Indian sculpture, bronzes, illustrated manuscripts, paintings and drawings, miniature paintings, woodwork, bead work and ancient and contemporary coins, with particular strength in Jain art from western India. The building also houses the N. C. Mehta collection of miniature paintings.
