About Helipad Exhibition Centre
The Helipad Exhibition Centre in Sector 17 is Gandhinagar's large-format trade fair ground, a set of permanent exhibition halls and open display areas a short drive from Mahatma Mandir. It is where the state stages the big trade shows that accompany its investment summits, and it hosted the defence exhibition DefExpo in 2022. Through the year it takes industrial and engineering fairs, agriculture and dairy technology expos, plastics, ceramics and pharma machinery shows, education fairs and government exhibitions, many of them trade-only on weekdays and open to the public on the final days. Halls are spread across a wide site, so expect a good deal of walking. Food courts and parking are set up per event by the organiser.
