About Gujarat University Convention & Exhibition Centre

The Gujarat University Convention and Exhibition Centre, known as GUCEC, is the main indoor exhibition venue within Ahmedabad city limits. It stands on university land along the 132 Feet Ring Road, next to the open grounds used for garba and outdoor fairs, and combines air-conditioned exhibition halls with a convention hall and lawns. Its calendar is dominated by trade and consumer shows: education and career fairs, property expos, jewellery, fashion and wedding exhibitions, food and hospitality shows, machinery and textile trade fairs and startup events. The convention hall takes award nights, conferences, university functions and the occasional large concert or comedy special. Most consumer exhibitions are free or carry a small entry fee; trade shows usually need registration.
